Iperia ActivEdge Unified Messaging takes voicemail to the next level of power, flexibility and usefulness. ActivEdge Unified Messaging allows service providers to offer subscribers additional enhanced, revenue-generating messaging features that leverage the voicemail infrastructure. ActivEdge Unified Messaging includes all the features of ActivEdge Voicemail and is the one-stop solution for all voicemail, e-mail notification, fax communication and conferencing.
ActivEdge Unified Messaging lets subscribers retrieve all messages with one phone call or visit to a website or e-mail client. Fax headers are translated into voice messages and presented to the subscriber with an option to forward them to a nearby fax machine or to a contact in the subscriber's address book.
Unified Messaging also provides Address Book functionality, allowing subscribers to easily look-up, dial and send messages to any contact stored in their personal address book.
ActivEdge Unified Messaging also offers an enhanced set of notification features including telephone and e-mail notification. Subscribers can set up message notifications to be sent to a telephone, e-mail address, or light a lamp on a telephone. Notifications can be prioritized based on the type of message that arrives in the subscriber's mailbox or the sender of the message.
The application's features and interfaces can be easily customized; allowing carriers to create their own branded unified messaging services. The application is easy to deploy, interoperates with current and future voicemail and e-mail systems, and costs considerably less than alternative solutions across all deployment scales.
The ActivEdge Unified Messaging solution provides service providers a powerful provisioning mechanism to partition the system into Organizations and Individuals. Partitioning allows service providers to host services for multiple customers on the same Iperia ActivEdge platform.
