ActivEdge Fax
ActivEdge Fax enables subscribers to have voicemail messages and faxes delivered directly to their computer.
Subscribers can dial the general access number and login to their mailbox to listen to the number of new fax messages, time and date received, and from whom the fax originated. Upon successful login to the mailbox, a subscriber is presented with the message inventory. The message inventory indicates (in addition to new voicemails) the number of new fax messages in the subscriber's mailbox.
With ActivEdge Fax messaging, subscribers can store fax messages, control when and where faxes are printed, and send faxes from their voicemail mailbox to another subscriber's mailbox or e-mail address. The subscriber can also record, review and re-record an introduction to the forwarded fax prior to the message being sent.
Using the ActivEdge GUI, subscribers can setup a default fax number, which will be used when forwarding a fax message to a fax machine. In addition, subscribers can browse and select fax messages in any sequence and forward, file or delete them as easily as any e-mail message. ActivEdge Fax can be used in conjunction with the ActivEdge Voicemail and ActivEdge Personal Address Book features to provide a complete communications service.
