Iperia Releases Visual Messaging 2.0 Redefining Voicemail Experience

Visual Messaging does for Voicemail what Blackberry did for Email

Waltham, MA , October 7, 2010 — Iperia, a leading provider of mobile applications and content delivery, today announced the release of Iperia Visual Messaging 2.0 for Blackberry, Android, iPhone and the Apple iPad. This release provides new mobile application features and supports a broader range of smartphones and mobile devices.

With its latest release of Visual Messaging, Iperia is redefining the traditional voicemail experience by simplifying the way voice messages are accessed, viewed, and managed from mobile devices. Specifically, Iperia provides an intuitive user interface with the ability to scroll, listen, and read messages with built-in speech-to-text transcription. Newly integrated features, that resemble those of email, provide the ability to search, index, view and print voice and fax messages directly through the Visual Messaging mobile application. Iperia also provides a more efficient way to manage voice messages across disparate systems (office, cell, home, etc.) through a single consolidated Visual Messaging mobile inbox. Visual Messaging 2.0 is network agnostic and is being deployed by fixed-line, wireless and cable operators.

In addition, Iperia’s Visual Messaging is providing an industry first, with a native version delivered for the Apple iPad. Iperia will continue to extend Visual Messaging to other classes of mobile devices as they come to market, including The Samsung Galaxy Tab and the RIM Playbook.

"These new capabilities are game changers in the industry and the latest of our plans to drive innovations that simplify the access of voice services, such as voicemail, through mobile devices," says Sam Waicberg, Iperia CEO. "We are listening to the market demand and executing on it. With a long history of delivering carrier class voice services, and a focus on mobility, Iperia is well positioned to address the significant market opportunity for Visual Messaging. Our goal is to make Visual Messaging as ubiquitous for voicemail, as Blackberry is for email."
