Iperia Announces Visual Messaging for Blackberry Smartphones

Waltham, MA — Iperia today announced the availability of its Visual Messaging application for wireline, cable, VoIP, and wireless service providers. More than just visual voicemail, Visual Messaging provides an enhanced user experience by consolidating multiple message types, such as voicemail, fax, and voicemail to text, into a single messaging inbox. Iperia's unique approach stores these multiple message types directly onto the mobile device providing immediate viewing and listening capabilities as well as the ability to delete, forward, and reply to any message in either online or offline modes.

Iperia's Visual Messaging addresses universal problems with standard voicemail — having to dial into one or more voicemail systems to retrieve messages, sequentially sifting through the queue in order to listen to messages, and having to then manually record message information in order to reply. Visual Messaging eliminates this cumbersome process by consolidating voicemails from multiple systems into a single message inbox with simple scroll, click, and listen capabilities.

"Service providers are constantly looking for differentiating services that retain customers and drive additional revenue," said Sam Waicberg, Iperia CEO. "Not only does Iperia Visual Messaging provide stickiness and increased ARPU, it also provides a competitive advantage for acquiring new customers. Visual Messaging is privately branded for each of our service provider customers, enabling them to extend their brand into new markets."

"We are pleased to announce that several of our customers already have plans in place to introduce Iperia Visual Messaging into their markets including Buckeye TeleSystem, Cellcom, Digital Telecommunications, and Gorge Networks," said Waicberg.
