Iperia Announces Investment by Overall Capital to Expand Growth

Waltham, MA — May 24, 2010 — Iperia, a leading, global provider of next-generation voice and messaging applications, today announced that it had secured funding from Boston, Mass – based Overall Capital. The new capital will accelerate growth and continue product development plans.

“We are very excited about Overall’s decision to invest in our future growth plans” said Sam Waicberg, Iperia’s CEO. “This will accelerate new product innovation and bring Iperia’s solutions to a broader set of customers.” In 2009, Iperia began an aggressive campaign to enable carriers with legacy voice messaging systems to access the capability of Iperia’s industry leading enhanced messaging services for their customers. As a result of this effort, Iperia is delivering brandable mobile voice and messaging based applications that interoperate with their existing systems across any network. This allows carriers to extend the capabilities of their legacy voice messaging systems by adding new services such as visual voice mail and voicemail to text transcription. These new services can be delivered significantly faster and at less cost with Iperia’s mobile applications.

“We see Iperia as one of the few alternatives available to carriers today to quickly deliver tangible new value to the customer and drive incremental ARPU,” remarked Andrew Davis, Managing Partner of Overall Capital Partners. “Over the past decade, Iperia has built one of the most robust voice platforms in the market. They have attracted industry leading customers and partners to the company and we believe today’s investment will allow Iperia to accelerate their efforts to bring an ever more flexible and powerful solution to their customers.”
