Telemarketing / Inside Sales
Position Overview:
The responsibility of the telemarketing/inside sales person is to receive requests for product information, and quotations from customers and prospects, as well as to perform outbound prospecting to targeted markets, geography etc. Provides quotations on standard items, writes orders, and relays pertinent order information to customers. Performs duties with marketing department where customer contact is a prime responsibility.Primary duties and responsibilities will include:
- Receives requests for product and price information
- Follows up on inquiries
- Outbound lead generation
- Achieve and maintain relationship with customers and prospects
- Handles the needs of sales representatives and customers by area of the United States
- Responsible for maintaining good customer relations
Skill, Education and Position Requirements:
- Strong telecommunications background
- High proficiency in PC applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of qualifying prospects
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus one year of training
- 2 to 3 years of entry-level sales/marketing
- Previous background should include a demonstrated ability to deal with customers
