ActivEdge Auto-Attendant
The Iperia ActivEdge Auto-Attendant can supplement or replace live operators and answer telephone calls 24 hours a day. NextGen service providers can use ActivEdge to offer small and medium-size businesses IP Centrex with voicemail, visual voicemail, notification, unified communications, and now auto-attendant.
The ActivEdge Auto-Attendant can:
- Greet incoming callers with a custom greeting and simple key-driven menu of options
- Receive voicemail messages
- Provide a dial-by-name directory
- Transfer incoming calls to groups or individuals
- Be the perfect front-end to ActivEdge Visual Voicemail and Unified Communications messaging systems
Features
- Organization/Group Greetings
Plays the caller an organization-level greeting, and then asks for a specific extension. - Live Transfer
Allows the caller to enter an extension number for a specific person or group, or connect to the operator by pressing zero. - Revert to Attendant
Allows the caller to transfer back to the auto-attendant if the subscriber is not available. - Operator Revert
Allows the caller to transfer directly to a live operator. - Name Directory (dial-by-name)
The Main Menu option allows callers to access the organization's Name Directory and then look up a specific person using the standard DTMF key pad. - General Mailbox
If the Operator does not pick up, the caller can be switched over to this General Mailbox and leave voicemail. - Holiday Greeting
The Administrator can record a special holiday and/or emergency greeting from a telephone, and also turn it on or off remotely. - Web-Based Administration
Configuration and administration of the Auto-Attendant is performed quickly and easily using a Web-based GUI.
